Registration

The registration form for authors and participants is available at the conference website http://www.cvl.iis.u-tokyo.ac.jp/mva/. For advance registration, the form must be received no later than May 6, 2005 by

The registration fee depends on the date on which the registration form is received and the membership status of the participant. Please refer to the following table for details.

Note: Reduced member fee is applied if the participant is a member of either IAPR, its regional representative societies, or Japanese societies cooperated with MVA2005[*]. The registration fee includes a copy of the proceedings and banquet attendance, but these are not included in the student fee.

At least one author per paper must complete an advance registration as a speaker by March 14, 2005 to ensure their papers are included in the proceedings. The registration fee for speakers is not refundable.

The registration fee for an advance registration can be paid by the following methods by May 6, 2005.

Only payments in Japanese yen are acceptable. Please state clearly the participant's name if it differs from the remitter's name. Bank surcharges are to be paid by the participant;

l Credit card (for participants from outside Japan)

Please include the card number, cardholder's name, expiration date, signature and date on the registration form. VISA, Master Card, and American Express are acceptable.

For participants other than speakers, the registration fee can be refunded except for some handling fee only when a written notice of cancellation is received no later than May 6, 2005.

Advance registration closes on May 6, 2005. Thereafter, only on-site registration is accepted. On-site registration fee must be paid by cash in Japanese yen. The registration desk is open at the conference site everyday during the conference.

Student participation is welcomed. Students not having any presentation are entitled to a special discount rate that does not include a copy of the proceedings and banquet attendance.
